The hunt for Stevie

Enclosed is our trip to find Stevie!

Before we began to the search to find Stevie we knew it would be a difficult journey. As we walked through the erie third floor we were unsure what we were supposed to be looking for. The big blue CD sign popped out at us. At that moment we knew that is where our first clue will be. As we looked to CD case up and down we finally found our first clue. The letter V.

Unsure on what path to follow next we chose to go to the second floor. A little lost at first we wandered through the “current” issues section. Worried we are going to be kicked out of the area it appeared to be for professors only. Looking over our shoulder the entire time finally a spark came to one of our minds maybe we should look at the P’s for the Pointer issue. We then came upon the stack of Pointer issues and were brought to a clue!

Jogging down the stairs we entered the lobby of the library and were welcomed with noise and people entering and leaving. We noticed our competition taking a picture with a strange shark hanging from a ceiling. Soon we realized this was our clue let's hope the shark doesn't come bite us.  The museum around the library is a unique twist.
The shark attacked us!

Wandering in circles around the lobby we swiftly look for the reference room. In the process we were getting distracted by the many people coming and going. We soon found a group of people huddled around a single book in the back of the library. We walk over there to find an encyclopedia about dogs! Flipping and flipping through the pages we finally find the clue at last.

Only needing one more clue before we could solve the puzzle, we rushed to the 6th floor where the kidnapper was last seen hanging out by the U.S. government publications.  A source told us the kidnapper was hanging out by the publications put out by the Smithsonian Institution.  We swiftly examined each row looking for the call number.  After finding it we determined that the first two letters of the call number are SI and that we had our final clue to solve the case.

Screams came from the fifth floor.  We ran down the stairs and tracked the sounds past the archives and the laptop lounge.  From there we found ourselves amongst rows of shelving. All of them had a unique subject, so we looked for the hostage among them until we found him in the zoology section with a letter clue “R”.
We found the hostage!
After a long process we finally figured out all of the letters put together spelt out archives. We searched for the archives for hours. We finally came upon them, and saw the victim that had been kidnapped. We found him and solved the mystery.
